The Bautechnische Versuchs- und Forschungsanstalt Salzburg (bvfs) is authorized by the Federal Office for Metrology and Surveying (BEV) as a Verification Body for the reverification of

  • Automatic scales
  • Non-automatic scales
  • Weight

The Verification Body of bvfs is a unique cooperation in this form between the accredited Calibration Laboratory of bvfs and several small and medium-sized Austrian companies specializing in weighing technology.
The cooperation partners provide theVerification Body with personnel, measuring instruments and premises.
Specially trained and BEV-certified employees of the cooperation partners act as authorized signatories for the Verification Body. In this function, these employees are authorized to perform verifications are also able to perform adjustments and repairs due to their many years of experience.
